Who doesn’t like the idea of security? Who doesn’t want to feel safe while lying in bed at night?

MAKE HOME MORE SECURE

The goal of this website is to help you, the homeowner, see through the fog of fear mongering and high priced advertising in the home security sector. The facts are the facts regardless of what the commercials say. To be fair, there are some good products out there you may want. And there are some quite necessary products out there you may need. But frankly, there are more than a few products on the market whose claims are a myth. Truthfully, you can spend and waste a lot of money on things that make you feel secure without actually making your home secure.

YOU CAN DO IT!

I’m quite certain that YOU can make your home secure. It’s just not the same as building a computer or rebuilding an engine, but it’s far more important! With the proper help and a little shared insight, you’ll get the job done right. Think about it: someone informed and encouraged you in the past and you very likely drive yourself to work or to the store without giving it much thought. The same can be true when it comes to making your home secure.

HI, I’M CT.

I love things that you can truly do yourself. I love the sense of pride, accomplishment and contentment that comes from doing that thing us regular folks weren’t supposed know we were able to do. And that leads me to want to share what I learn so you can enjoy those feelings also.

So thanks for stopping by. And if you have any questions, comments or concerns feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to respond.

All the best,

CT

  1. CT. I read with interest your 2018 article on the different products available to reinforce the door’s strike jamb so that is resists forced entry. I have developed a low cost strike jamb reinforcement kit that is going to be rolled out through Home Depot this year. I wanted to ask that if you plan to do an update of your 2018 article that you consider adding our “Everstrike” product to the mix. Thanks. David Moeller

  2. Hi,

Moving to a new city or state is no small task. My guess is that many people out there would benefit from a “relocation checklist” full of all the things you need to do in order to get settled in.

Could I put this together for you and send it over for your review? If it’s a good fit for your site, I’d love to ask that you share it there.

    Cheers!
    Paul
